1. Introduction

We Community Corp (“We,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and safeguard information through the SheChangedIt mobile application (the “App”), our related services, and any features made available through the App, including AI-powered features.

By using the App, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

We may collect information you provide to us directly, including:

  • Account Details: such as your name, email address, username, password, date of birth, and optional profile information.

  • Wellness Data: such as mood entries, activity logs, wellness goals, symptom tracking, sleep patterns, weight entries, medication adherence details, journal-style entries, and other wellness-related data you choose to submit in the App.

  • Communications and Support Requests: such as content you provide when contacting support, submitting feedback, responding to surveys, or otherwise communicating with us.

  • User Content: any content, text, entries, posts, chat messages, prompts, or other information you choose to submit through the App.

B. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, we may automatically collect certain information, including:

  • Usage Data: such as timestamps, feature usage, screen views, button clicks, session activity, and interactions with App features.

  • Device and Technical Information: such as IP address, device type, operating system, app version, device identifiers, language, time zone, crash data, and performance logs.

  • Analytics Information: including aggregated or de-identified usage analytics collected through analytics and infrastructure providers, such as Firebase or similar services, to help us understand App performance and usage trends.

C. Information Related to AI Features

If you use an AI-powered feature in the App, we collect and process:

  • the text you enter in the question, prompt, or chat field;

  • a conversation ID used to maintain continuity of the conversation; and

  • any locally stored conversation information needed to allow the conversation to continue within the App until you clear or delete it.

We do not intentionally send additional personal or identifying information to the AI provider unless you include it in your message or submission.

3. How We Collect Information

We collect information:

  • directly from you when you create an account, complete your profile, use wellness features, submit entries, contact us, or use AI-powered features;

  • automatically through the App, device, and service providers when you interact with the App; and

  • from third-party tools and vendors that help us operate, maintain, secure, analyze, and improve the App.

4. How We Use Your Information

We may use your information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, and improve the App and related services;

  • create and manage your account;

  • personalize your experience, content, recommendations, and wellness tracking;

  • provide community, wellness, and support features;

  • respond to support requests, feedback, or inquiries;

  • communicate with you about App updates, service notices, and promotional messages where permitted by law;

  • conduct product development, analytics, troubleshooting, quality assurance, and research;

  • maintain safety, security, integrity, and abuse prevention;

  • detect, prevent, or investigate fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, or other harmful activity; and

  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms, policies, and agreements.

Use of AI Features

If you use an AI-powered feature, we use the information submitted through that feature to:

  • generate AI responses;

  • maintain conversation continuity;

  • operate, support, and secure the AI feature; and

  • improve reliability and safety of the feature.

5. AI Features and Third-Party Processing

The App may include AI-powered features.

When you use an AI feature, the text you enter in the question, prompt, or chat field is sent to Google Gemini to generate a response.

We also send a conversation ID to Google Gemini so the conversation can continue over time. The conversation ID may also be stored locally on your device to support conversation continuity within the App.

We do not intentionally send additional personal or identifying information to Google Gemini unless you include it in your message.

You should avoid entering highly sensitive personal information into AI chat unless it is necessary for your intended use of the feature.

We use information submitted through AI features only to provide the requested AI functionality, including generating responses, maintaining chat continuity, and operating and securing the feature.

Clearing AI Conversations

You can delete conversations at any time by tapping the info icon and selecting Clear Chat History.

When you clear chat history, the locally stored conversation ID and associated locally stored prompts for that conversation are deleted from the device.

6. Consent to AI Processing

Before you first use an AI-powered feature, we ask for your consent to send your submitted text and conversation ID to Google Gemini for processing and response generation.

If you do not consent, you may choose not to use the AI feature.

7. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable under laws such as the GDPR and similar privacy laws, we process personal data on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Consent: where you have given us permission to process your information;

  • Performance of a Contract: where processing is necessary to provide the App and requested services;

  • Legitimate Interests: where processing is necessary for our legitimate interests, such as operating, improving, securing, and supporting the App, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; and

  • Legal Obligation: where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.

8. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: with vendors, contractors, cloud providers, analytics providers, customer support providers, infrastructure providers, and other service providers that process data on our behalf and under appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations;

  • AI Service Provider: with Google Gemini when you choose to use AI-powered features in the App, as described in this Privacy Policy;

  • Legal Requirements: where required to do so by law, regulation, court order, legal process, or governmental request;

  • Protection of Rights and Safety: where necessary to protect the rights, property, safety, users, or integrity of the App, our company, or others;

  • Business Transfers: in connection with an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, or other business transaction; and

  • User-Initiated Sharing: where you choose to share information or content through community or other interactive features.

We require third-party service providers that process personal data on our behalf to provide protections for that data that are the same as or comparable to the protections described in this Privacy Policy.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:

  • provide and maintain the App and your account;

  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, or contractual obligations;

  • resolve disputes; and

  • enforce our agreements.

We may retain anonymized, aggregated, or de-identified information for analytics, research, product development, and other lawful business purposes.

Locally stored AI conversation data remains on the device until deleted by the user, including through the Clear Chat History feature, unless otherwise removed through normal app or device storage processes.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no method of transmission over the internet, no electronic storage system, and no mobile application is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for notifying us if you believe your account or data has been compromised.

11. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;

  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;

  • request deletion of your account or personal data;

  • request restriction of processing;

  • object to certain types of processing;

  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;

  • request portability of your data, where applicable; and

  • lodge a complaint with a privacy regulator or supervisory authority.

You may also:

  • update certain account information in the App;

  • stop using AI features at any time; and

  • clear AI conversations at any time by tapping the info icon and selecting Clear Chat History.

12. Children’s Privacy

SheChangedIt is not intended for children under the age of 16.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided personal information to us, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

13. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries other than the country in which you live. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Where required, we take appropriate measures designed to protect personal information transferred across borders in accordance with applicable law.

14. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with or rely on third-party services, including hosting, analytics, infrastructure, authentication, communication, and AI providers.

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to those providers’ own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies where relevant.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make material changes, we may notify you by posting the updated Privacy Policy in the App, on our website, by email, or through another appropriate method. The “Effective Date” above indicates when this Privacy Policy was last updated.

Your continued use of the App after an update becomes effective means you acknowledge the revised Privacy Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
